General information about the Personal Data Protection Law

The Personal Data Protection Law numbered 6698 (hereinafter referred to as KVKK) was adopted on March 24, 2016, and published in the Official Gazette numbered 29677 dated April 7, 2016. Some parts of the KVKK entered into force on the publication date, while the rest came into effect on October 7, 2016.

Information as Data Controller

Within the framework of the KVKK numbered 6698 and as the Data Controller, your personal data will be recorded, stored, updated, may be disclosed/transferred to third parties in cases permitted by legislation, classified, and processed as explained on this page and in the ways specified in the KVKK.

How your personal data may be processed

According to the KVKK numbered 6698, the personal data you share with our Company may be processed by us, fully or partially, automatically or non-automatically as part of any data recording system, by collecting, recording, storing, altering, reorganizing, in short, by any operation performed on the data. All such operations within the scope of KVKK are considered as "processing of personal data."

Purposes and legal reasons for processing your personal data

The personal data you share will be used for:

  • Providing the necessary services to our customers in compliance with the contract and technology requirements, and improving our products and services;

  • Recording identity, address, and other necessary information for identification of the transaction owner within the scope of the Law on Regulation of Electronic Commerce numbered 6563, Consumer Protection Law numbered 6502, and the related legislation;

  • Preparing all records and documents that form the basis for transactions in mandatory payment systems in banking and electronic payments, in paper or electronic form; complying with legal retention, reporting, and notification obligations;

  • Providing information to public authorities, prosecutors, courts, and relevant public officials when requested in matters concerning public security and legal disputes;

Data will be processed in accordance with the KVKK numbered 6698 and related secondary regulations. Regarding third parties to whom your personal data may be transferred, these include, but are not limited to, IdeaSoft Software Industry and Trade Inc., which provides our e-commerce infrastructure, suppliers, cargo companies related to the services provided, partner organizations we collaborate with as Data Processors, domestic/foreign institutions, and other third parties.

How your personal data is collected

Your personal data is collected through:

  • Forms on our company's website and mobile applications including information such as name, surname, national ID number, address, phone, business or private email address; preferences on pages accessed via username and password, IP records of operations, cookies collected by the browser, navigation duration and details, location data;
  • Our sales and marketing staff, branches, suppliers, other sales channels, paper forms, business cards, digital marketing, and call centers via verbal, written, or electronic means;
  • Individuals who share their personal data to establish a commercial relationship with our Company, apply for a job, submit proposals, either face-to-face or remotely, verbally, in writing or electronically;
  • Also, data obtained indirectly through various channels such as websites, blogs, contests, surveys, games, campaigns, social media, e-newsletter interactions, publicly available databases, and publicly shared social media profiles; these data may be collected and processed.

Your personal data obtained before the enforcement of KVKK

Your personal data lawfully obtained before the enforcement date of KVKK on April 7, 2016, such as membership, electronic communication permissions, product/service purchases, and other forms, are also processed and stored in accordance with the terms and conditions stated in this document.

Transfer of personal data abroad

Your personal data collected and processed in Turkey or abroad may be transferred to overseas service providers (countries accredited by the Personal Data Protection Board and providing adequate protection for personal data), provided that it remains within the scope of KVKK and in accordance with the purposes of the contract.

Storage and protection of personal data

Your personal data will be confidentially stored in our databases and systems as required by Article 12 of KVKK, and will not be shared with third parties except for legal obligations and conditions specified in this document. Our Company is responsible for preventing unlawful processing of personal data, unauthorized access, and is obliged to implement software security measures such as access management and physical security precautions. Any unlawful access to personal data will be immediately reported in writing to the Personal Data Protection Board in accordance with the regulations.

Updating and accuracy of personal data

According to Article 4 of KVKK, our Company is obliged to keep your personal data accurate and up-to-date. For this purpose, our Customers must share accurate and current data or update it through the website/mobile application.

Rights of the personal data owner under KVKK No. 6698

Article 11 of KVKK No. 6698 came into force on October 7, 2016. Accordingly, the personal data owner has the following rights concerning their data with our Company (Data Controller):

  1. To learn whether their personal data is being processed;

  2. To request information if personal data has been processed;

  3. To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly;

  4. To know domestic or foreign third parties to whom personal data is transferred;

  5. To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data;

  6. To request deletion or destruction of personal data under conditions specified in Article 7 of KVKK;

  7. To request notification of third parties to whom personal data has been transferred about corrections, deletions, or destruction;

  8. To object to the emergence of a result against oneself by analyzing processed data exclusively through automated systems;

  9. To request compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing of personal data.

These rights belong to the personal data owner. Our Company, registered with the [ATO] Chamber of Commerce under registration number 528991 and MERSIS number [0190-1618-5780-0001], located at [Önder Mah. Akçakale 2 Cad.
